General terms of business


1. Area of application

The following Terms and Conditions are valid for all orders through our online shop by consumers and companies.

A consumer is every natural person who closes a legal deal for purposes which can be accredited predominantly neither towards commercial uses nor independent professional activity. A company  is a natural or legal entity or has the legal capacity of a corporation which acts in accordance with and towards the execution of independent professional activity.

Those terms and conditions are valid for all present and future business transactions. If a company or contractor uses different, additional or conflicting general terms of business, their validity is hereby refused and nullified. Agreements of that type will only become part of a contract if we expressly agree to them.


2. Contracting partner, contract end

Contracts are signed with Hoffmann Transfer & Textile Print.

The representation of our products in our online shop shows no legally binding offer, but a non-binding online catalogue. Products can be placed in the checkout basket without further obligation. Customers can correct or revoke their input at any time before finishing their order, using the provided ordering tools and correction helpers. By clicking the "order" button,  a legally binding order for the goods currently in the checkout basket is placed. Confirmation of this order is sent to the email address specified by the customer immediately upon completion of the order.

Depending on the customer's chosen payment method, a binding contract becomes valid at different stages:

Advance payment, Klarna invoice and financing, PayPal,

We accept your order by sending a separate confirmation email within two days or by delivering the ordered items within two or three days.

Advance payment
We accept your order by sending a separate confirmation email within two days. This will contain our bank details.

PayPal, PayPal Express
You will be redirected to the website of online payment service provider Paypal. From there, you can enter your personal payment data and complete your payment using the forms provided. After completing an order in our shop, we invite Paypal to initiate the payment process and thereby accept your order.

Master / Maestro Card, Klarna Invoice, Visa Card.


3. Contract languages

The languages available for contracts are German, English and Italian.

We store the contract text and send the order data and our Terms and Conditions by email to the address specified by the customer. Customers can access our Terms and Conditions on our website at any time.  Customers can access their past orders in our customer login area.


4. Terms of delivery

In addition to the product prices specified, we charge our customers with the cost of delivery. Details can be accessed via the "Offers" section on our website.

Business hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00-17:00 and Friday 9:00-14:00.

Please make sure to notify us of your pickup intent at least one day in advance.


5. Payment

In our shop, the following payment options are available:

Advance payment
After choosing advance payment, we will notify you of our bank details in a separate email and deliver the ordered items after reception of payment.

PayPal, PayPal Express
During the ordering process, the customer will be redirected to the PayPal website. In order to proceed with a PayPal payment, the customer will have to be a registered user of the online payment supplier Paypal or complete a registration there. After completion of an order in our shop, we invite PayPal to initiate the payment process.
This transaction will be completed by PayPal, immediately following the ordering process.

Purchase by invoice, financing through Klarna
In cooperation with Klarna FROM (, Sveavägen 46, Stockholm, Sweden, we can offer  you a payment by invoice and a payment in installments as a flexible option.
Please, note that Klarna invoices and Klarna payments are available only for consumers and that the payment has to proceed through Klarna in each case.

Klarna examines and stores the consumer data and maintains a data exchange with other enterprises and credit inquiry agencies (credit investigation). Should the credit standing of the consumer not be guaranteed, Klarna can refuse payment types  and has to point to alternative payment possibilities. Customer  personal data is treated according to the data protection act and not transmitted for advertising purposes. Customers can find out more about Klarna's privacy agreements here: (

Klarna payment in installments
With Klarna's financing service customers can pay their orders flexibly in monthly rates of at least 1/24 of the total (Minimum: € 6.95). With a Klarna purchase by invoice, payment only needs to proceed after the receipt of the ordered shipment. Customers can find the entire Terms and Conditions for the calculation purchase here:

6. Retention of title

The product remains our property until payment is completed.
For companies and contractors, we also reserve for ourselves the possession of the product until all demands from an ongoing business connection are resolved. Companies and contractors may resell the product in orderly retail fashion, resigning all demands originating from this resale - regardless if this is a combined sale of reservation product along with new items - while the amount of any open and unresolved demands will have to be paid in advance. Companies and contractors remain entitled to follow through with their own demands, however Hoffmann Textil & Transfer may execute said demands if any parties in the contract do not fulfill their payment demands.

7. Damages in transit

If goods with evident damages in transit are delivered, immediately report this to the delivery agent and get in touch with us as soon as possible. Not issuing a complaint or not getting in touch with us has, however, no bearing on the legal claims of the customer. They help us to better assert our own claims towards the transport provider or the respective insurance firm.

8. Warranty and guarantees

Until not otherwise agreed upon, standard legal liabilities for defects are in effect. This means that customers can claim faults up to one year after receipt of our product.
For companies or contractors this this period is limited to one year after passing of risk; the legal limitation periods for the resort claim after §478 Civil Code remain untouched.
With companies or contractors, the agreements on the state of a product are solely based on our own description and the description of any third-party suppliers, as included in the contract. We will not be held accountable for any statements or advertising by any supplier or third-pary manufacturer.
If a delivered item shows faults, we will after consideration grant warranty toward companies and contractors by correcting a fault or by delivering a fault-free product as replacement.
Those restrictions do not apply to damages caused by ourselves, our legal representatives or any other employees on our part.

Also, this does not apply in case of:

-          injury to life, body or health

-          negligence or gross negligence

-          breach of essential contract duties where fulfillment forms the base of a contract

-          inside the framework of a provided warranty, as agreed upon

-          as long as the application of the product liability act is in effect

9. Liability

We are always liable for claims on the basis of damages which are caused by us, our legal representatives or assistants always.

  • injury to life, body or health
  • negligence or gross negligence
  • inside the framework of a provided warranty, as agreed upon
  • as far as the range of application of the product liability law is pertinent

On breach of essential contract duties whose fulfilment generally enable the the proper realization of a contract and where trust in their observance through negligence on our part, our legal representatives or assistants, liability is limited to the amount of damage that typically will have occurred at contract's end. Besides that, compensation claims are invalid..

11. Mediation/Settlement
The European Commission provides a platform for online settlement (OS) which can be found here:
We are not obliged to participate in settlement procedure before a consumer arbitration court and generally refrain from doing so.

12. Final regulations

For companies or contractors, German law is applied under the exclusion of CISG (United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods)

For businesses who are a merchant in the sense of the German commercial code, a public entity, the legal venue for alle disputes and contracts between us and any customers, companies or contractors is our place of business.

In case of a dispute about these terms, misunderstandings or translation problems, only the original German version of these terms (also available on this site) is considered legally binding.
